With the idea that we would like to serve as many people as possible, new class types are popping up all over the schedule.

In Edgerton, we now offer:

  • Silver Slippers, a class for any person age 55+ (Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m.; on summer hiatus until September)
  • Beautiful Strength, a class that utilizes a fun partner and weight lifting circuit to increase strength (Thursdays at 7:15 p.m.)

Location, Location

Oh, the Possibilities!

With this *beautiful* weather we’ve been having this week (note the tongue tightly held in cheek), a great question came across my mind.

Does location really matter to your workout?

In a sense, yes.  It does.

It should be a place where you’re comfortable, shouldn’t have to pick up a bunch of things before starting the workout, and shouldn’t “turn you off” visually.  It also helps if there’s a great support system built into it.

Eating Healthy Does Not Equal Eating Bland

When most people think of “going on a diet,” they usually think 1) Bland foods that don’t have any of their favorites included, 2) lots of rules and restrictions that don’t let you relax at any moment, 3) Something that cannot be maintained over the long term and ultimate failure.

Now, seriously, just stop right there.

It doesn’t have to be that way!

Wouldn’t you rather lose weight AND be happy?

Sleep=Fat Loss?

Sleep impacts fat loss efforts quite substantially. The average American only receives about 6-7 hours of sleep per night, with many of us getting much less than that.
